The problem

Cus­tomis­ing is sur­face. You need applications.

The Cor­ner­stone stan­dard cov­ers a lot, but not every­thing. When your needs go beyond what stan­dard work­flows can do, the makeshift work begins: wel­come pages and cus­tom pages bring UI adjust­ments, but no log­ic. Report­ing 2.0 shows data, but does­n’t make it inter­ac­tive. Sep­a­rate appli­ca­tions along­side Cor­ner­stone mean a sec­ond login, a sec­ond data path and a sec­ond main­te­nance burden.

Custom pages are static

You can adjust lay­out, brand­ing and con­tent, but you can’t car­ry real appli­ca­tion log­ic. As soon as you want to fil­ter, join, val­i­date or write, the cus­tom-page world ends.

Reporting 2.0 ends where applications begin

Tables and dia­grams are not the same as a work­flow. You can show data, but you can’t guide your users through a process.

Live API accesses are slow

Any­one who wants to process Cor­ner­stone data in an appli­ca­tion and goes live via the APIs strug­gles with rate lim­its, throt­tling and unpre­dictable response times. Unus­able for user-fac­ing applications.

Extensions need context

Developed in-house via the SDK
